Journal One

Well, back in the day, there was a small village in the midwest of the United States.  Every so often, there was a group, known as the Indians, that came along and took everything that the people of the small owned (just for my purpose, that small village was known as the tribe).  Every day they thought of a way that could prevent their belongings from being taken, and each day they could never come up with an idea that could help.  They tried building walls, but they were knocked down.  They tried hiding, but they were found.  They could not find an idea that would help, until one day they thought of building a mountain.  If they built this mountain so high, they could look down, on everybody who wanted to come up.  They figured that if all the tribe helped out in building this mountain, it would be complete before the Indians returned.  So everyday, everybody pitched in on building the mountain, and everyday it got a bit higher and higher.  They had about four months to build this mountain, before the Indians returned.  They constantly built the mountain, and each day they got faster and faster and pretty soon the mountain was built.  Well a lot of people thought that it was impossible to built a mountain, and people questioned want went into the process.  Hardwork went into the building of this mountain.  All that was left was the relocation and settlement atop the mountain.  Once they got this down they made hidden place throughout the hill, so that when the Indians came up the mountain, the Tribe could ambush and capture the Indians.  When the Indians finally came, the tribe was ready and captured every single Indian and taught them a lesson.  Thy told them they would let them go under one condition and that was if they would never return.  The Indians agreed and left, and that is how the Tribe saved their village.
